Dekouvri Ayiti — Privacy Policy

Introduction

Dekouvri Ayiti is an educational and cultural exploration application developed by Altenativ Group. This policy describes the information the application may process and how that information is used. It applies in addition to the Altenativ Group Privacy Policy.

Information the Application May Process

• Account email address
• User ID
• Profile information provided by the user
• Authentication data required to sign in and maintain a session
• Game and exploration progress
• Experience points (XP)
• Discoveries
• Missions
• Challenges
• Achievements and badges

Information the Application Does Not Collect

The application does not collect:

• Precise location data
• Contacts
• Health information
• Financial information
• Photos or media from your device

If future functionality requires any of the above, this policy will be updated before that functionality is released.

How Information Is Used

• To create and maintain a user account.
• To authenticate the user and secure access to the account.
• To save and restore exploration and learning progress across sessions.
• To display XP, discoveries, missions, challenges, and achievements.
• To maintain the reliability and security of the application.

Accounts and Authentication

Account creation and authentication are handled using Supabase, which provides the authentication and database services used by the application. Account and progress data are stored in the application's Supabase backend.

Data Storage and Security

Account and application data are stored in the application's backend infrastructure. Reasonable technical and organizational measures are used to protect that data. No method of transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Third-Party Services

• Supabase — authentication and database services.

Data Retention

Account and progress data are retained for as long as the account remains active. If a deletion request is submitted, the associated account and personal data are removed once the request has been verified and processed. Data no longer required to operate the application is deleted.

Account and Data Deletion

Dekouvri Ayiti does not currently provide an automatic in-app account deletion feature. Deletion requests are handled manually by Altenativ Group.

To request deletion of your account and associated personal data, send a message from the email address associated with the account to contact@altenativgroup.com with the subject "Account Deletion Request". Once the request is verified, the account and its associated personal data are deleted from the application's backend.

Children's Privacy

Dekouvri Ayiti is an educational application intended for general audiences. It does not knowingly collect personal information from users below the minimum age required by applicable law in their jurisdiction. If we become aware that such information has been collected, it will be deleted.

Changes to This Policy

This policy may be updated as the application evolves. Updated versions will be published on this page with a revised update date.
